While we are primarily a daycare and boarding facility, we also understand that it might not be for every dog.  With Happy Mailman’s pet sitting service, your pets can rest comfortably in the comfort of their own home while you’re away.  We’ll come by and visit as often as you’d like, giving plenty of belly rubs, love, play, and attention.  We’ll even grab the mail, water the plants, turn the lights on, or just about whatever else you need done while you’re away.

Services and pricing are as follows:

DOG TAXI

Pick up for boarding at Happy Mailman – need to get out of town in a hurry?  We’ll come by and pick your dog up and bring them over to our open play facility for their stay.  Please note they’ll need to pass our behavior evaluation in order to be eligible.

• $15 minimum or $1 per mile round trip

• By appointment, requires minimum of 48 hours notice.  Add $20 for services needed within 48 hour window.

• Owner or authorized agent must be present.

• Vet visits and errands: $25 per 30 mins.  Vet services available for dogs only.

DOG WALKING

Standard Walk – we’ll come by and take your pal for a one-on-one walk while you’re away.  This service is independent of pet sitting.

• $15 for each walk (20 mins) $1 each additional minute.  Additional dogs $3 each.

PET SITTING

Your First Visit is FREE.  A pet sitter will come over to get to know your pets, fill out the initial paperwork, and get acquainted with your home.  We’ll go over your pet’s needs and what we will need to do upon each visit.

Pet Sitting Visits (requires a minimum of 48 hours notice) – We’ll let the dog out, feed and clean/scoop litter, give plenty of love, and play for a bit.  Includes plant watering, collecting the mail, and other reasonable home related tasks. Standard visits last about 30 minutes and we’ll come as often as you’d like.

• $20 per visit. $5 per Each Additional Pet 

• Off-Peak Hours Visits. Add $10 for visit
s that occur after 8 pm.

Holiday Visits – Limited availability Add $10 per day.  Includes : New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

HOME AND MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES

Home Check with no pet sitting

• $15 per visit. We’ll bring in the mail, paper, water your plants, turn the lights on and off, and take the trash out!
