Welcome to Happy Mailman located on Highway 290 W. Set on two acres of land just 10 miles south of downtown Austin, our 290 location is perfect for dogs with a tons of energy that love playing and running around with other dogs. This location boasts several large play areas, with plenty of shade for those hot Austin summers. We provide all dogs with 8+ hours of playtime 365 days a year to ensure a happy, exhausted, and well exercised pup upon your return. Overnight Boarding

Happy Mailman Dog Retreat offers overnight boarding 365 days a year as your dog’s home away from home. All dogs boarding at Happy Mailman enjoy more than 8 hours of playtime every single day of the year, rather than being confined to small runs most of the day.  Our special environment will leave your dog all tuckered out at the end of their stay, so that you can enjoy a calm household when you return from your trip!

All dogs sleep in climate controlled, indoor kennel rooms, which are cleaned twice per day, after your dog’s overnight as well as its daily nap. Boarding rates include daycare, with no additional charge for afternoon pick-ups.

DOG FOOD: There is a $2/night charge per dog for use of our grain-free dog food. Customers are welcome to bring their own food at no additional charge.
